Making movies
The MAZE Summer Group brings together students of different ages for two weeks and involves them in the exciting process of filmmaking. Participants engage in script development, set design and on-location shooting. Prior acting or video-making experience is not necessary but energy, motivation and willingness to work together are all prerequisites. We will create and rehearse a script that will be videotaped at various T-accessible locations in Cambridge and Boston. in recent years, we've shot scenes at the Franklin Park Zoo, the Museum of Science, Boston Common, the Mount Auburn Cemetery and countless other locations.

"Both of my sons have participated in MAZE for many consecutive years. They have had a great time. The quality of the productions has been wonderful, and it is so great for them to learn how movies are made. They get to learn each step, and in the end they have literally produced and made a movie. It is a unique opportunity - and an awesome one!!!! They both adore working on the crew, and really enjoy the days 'shooting' and exploring the city through the camera's lens. It is also an excellent opportunity to work with kids in different ages/grades and form friendships. 4 stars from me!" - Susie M.
